The Canigó
is rolling.

On Sant Joan night we presented our first bicycle: a carbon gravel bike made in Catalonia. This is the story of the launch.

On 24 June, while the Sant Joan bonfires burned across the country, we opened the website and showed the Canigó for the first time: our carbon gravel bike, built in Catalonia, in our Taradell workshop. We had been working on it quietly for more than eight years. That evening, the work left the workshop.

Why Sant Joan night

We didn't pick the date at random. Every year, the Canigó Flame comes down from the summit and lights the Sant Joan bonfires all over Catalonia. It is an image that says everything about us: a mountain, a fire that is shared, and a whole land lighting up at once.

Our first bike had to carry this name and had to be born on that night. Like the flame, it was made up high and comes down to stay everywhere.

What the Canigó is

It is an adventure gravel bike made for unmaking roads: from the Osona trails to the passes of Northern Catalonia. Carbon Composite SLR frame and fork with an internal compartment in the down tube, Shimano GRX 12-speed drivetrain, carbon wheels and 8.3 kg total weight.

The full spec sheet, with geometry and sizes, is on the Canigó page.

What comes next

The first orders are underway and the coming weeks belong to the workshop: cutting, assembling, painting and verifying. We will tell the story here and in the newsletter, with photos of every stage.

If you want to see the Canigó up close, write to us and visit the workshop. And if you want to be among the first to know what comes next (hint: it is named after a mountain range), join the PYRMON newsletter.

Thank you for riding along. This is only the beginning.
